Inventory setup checklist

Prepare rental inventory for a connected workspace.

A clean starting inventory makes a new workspace easier to use. Resolve uncertain asset records and pricing before asking your team to rely on them.

Agree on the asset identity

Give each asset or stock record a consistent name and identifier. Separate items with different rates or operational requirements. Check duplicate records and decide which one represents the item your team actually rents.

Document pricing and usage

Write down rental periods, rates, allowances, and relevant usage units. Keep examples of a normal invoice and an exception so your team can verify the configured calculations.

Reconcile existing commitments

List current rentals, reservations, and maintenance holds. Review them with the team before treating the new workspace as the source of availability information.
